Do I need special hardware for barcode billing?

No — any USB or Bluetooth barcode scanner works with any device that runs a browser. A tablet plus a basic scanner is a complete billing lane; even a phone alone works using name search.

What if a product has no barcode?

Search by name or SKU — a couple of keystrokes finds it. Weighed items like produce or loose staples are billed by entering the quantity, with the price computed at the per-unit rate.

Can a customer pay partly in cash and partly by UPI?

Yes — split payments are supported at tender, including combining cash, UPI and loyalty-point redemption on the same bill.

Does it print on thermal receipt printers?

Yes — receipts print in a thermal layout, and every receipt can alternatively (or additionally) be shared as a mobile-friendly link carrying the same GST detail and UPI QR.
